Track by Track Rating System

G-Unit

Whats up All, its ya Boy Drawzilla with the first installment of ‘Track-by-Track
on G-Unit’s highly anticipated ‘T.O.S’ album that just dropped on July 2nd.

Thanks…SO….I gotta say that G-Unit is definitely back in action. Over the
years they have been going through some serious transitions but have come
to 3 main hip hop artists who’ve impacted the game.

Now …. lets get to my overall review track by track.

Track 1- Straight Outta Southside (Produced by Ron Browz)

I like this record. It has a lotta energy and brings you back to the NWA days in a sense. Ron
Browz produced the record which makes sense. He did ” Whip ya head boy”
… hard hitting drums with old school street keyboard sounds.
They sound hungry as hell especially YAYO. He’s impressing me lately.

Track 2- Piano Man (Produced by Tha Bizness)

One of my favorites on the cd. I love that hard bass shaker that comes in on the hook towards the tail end.
I like the piano change in the hook and those flutes are ridiculous also. Banks sounds like a beast marrying
the track and 50 ’s hook is simple but effective. My least favorite is Buck but he did his thing.

Track 3- Close to Me (Produced by Chris Styles of Dangerous LLC)

Big shout out to my dude Chris Styles of Dangerous LLC who produced this record. This is kool. I hear this
as a single .. it reminds me of the energy of Lloyds Banks single ” Fire” not as big, but similar. I like the synths that come in
periodically. Honestly, the hook is ok. It didnt really grab me to the point I was goin crazy but I’ll enjoy this in my new whip lol.

Track 4- Rider Pt 2 (Produced by Rick Rock)

COME on man, you already know …..FIRE !!!!! A club banger, not just because its out already. When I
first heard it, I went crazy. Others said ” Why is 50 using the T Pain autotune? ” They know nothin lol … its hot as hell.
lol Another smash from G Unit !

Track 5- Casualties of War (Produced by Ky Miller)

This record is nice. I wish the engineer would’ve had that snare pop just a tad bit more though. Banks
sounds crazy on this, lyrically, his flow etc. That break after the hook seems a lil off time but that just me.
I wish I would’ve heard a hihat to give a tempo but I analyze to much I guess right ?….. lol. It’s cool though.

Track 6- You So Tough (Produced by Ky Miller)

Ridiculous !! One of my favorites. Vintage G UNIT ! The track is crazy and Banks again sounds hot. The
melody musically is piercing and catchy. Yayo sounds like he’s ready for whatever with any mc.

Track 7- No Days Off (Produced by Dual Output)

The hottest record on the cd. Yea, I said it dammmmitt. Listen to that damn melody when the verse comes
in. It reminds me of DR DRE. The bassline drives the record without a doubt. There’s so many changes musically
which makes the song. If your tired of all these corny records coming out and you need a street
midtempo banger, ” No days Off ” is it for you.

Track 8- T.O.S. (Produced by Ty Fyffe)

Ummmm … they could’ve saved this for MASE … oh is he still over there ?
lol … wasnt feeling this at all.

Track 9- I Like The Way She Do It (Produced by Street Radio aka Jimi Kendrixx and J Math)

At first, I wasnt feeling this only because I wanted to hear more street records but it grew on me.
After really listening to the entire song, I enjoyed it a lot. Not to mention, the ladies influenced me a lot when I played it
in the clubs. Shout out to Jimi Kendrixx and J Math of Street Radio who produced this. The track is hot and I like 50 the best.
The video is cool too by the way.

Track 10- Kitty Kat (Produced by Hit Boy)

This is hot, that sound is from the Roland Fantom, I’ve used it before … I like the beat change in
the record when the verse drops on the 9th bar. They threw a clap in for 4 bars then drops back to the hook.
Precious Paris is doing the hook sounding so hood lol. 50 is killing the verse. Its def the most
distinct record on the album.

Track 11- Party Ain’t Over (Produced by Damian Taylor)

This is kool. I like the melody, the hook is nice. Buck doesn’t fit to me on this record. I
don’t know what it is but I m not a Buck fan right now. No disrespect but it sounds like he was
thrown on these records just because. Just my opinion though.

Track 12- Let It Go (Produced by Don Cannon)

AH MAN ….. Kraaaaaaak ! Mavado sounds hot on this. The beat is so heavy especially when the 808 comes
in … it vibrates the speakers crazy. That chopped guitar lick is so hood. I wish I d did this track lol.
” Imma a gaaaaaangggstaaa” ….he sounds like a star. The hook and track makes this record.

Track 13- Get Down (Produced by Swizz Beatz)

OK … this is where I get in trouble with the haters. WHAT is this ???? Love Swizzy, love G Unit,
but this was ” Yo we squashed our beef, lets do a record so the public knows its real ” ….. I didnt like this. It didnt match to me. I hear T.I. or Swizzy himself on this.

Track 14- I Don’t Wanna Talk About It
(Produced by Jesse ‘Corporal’ Williams and Reginald ‘Regg’ Smith)

I think the track is craazzzzzy. The drop in the verse musically makes the track.
Everyone’s delivery is hot. What is that sound that creeps in on the 9th bar. A TUBA ?
Lol craaaazzy. I like the hook, real simple, something that maybe TIMBO would do.

Track 15- Ready or NOT (Produced by Jake One)

GANGSTA …. hot !!! NO hi hat. It reminds me of OCT 31st. They are marrying the track with their
delivery. I think Yayo should’ve gave a lower tone to deliver his verses though like Banks did. Overall, CRAZZZY !

Track 16- Money Make The World Go Round (Produced by Ron Browz)

This was an experiment. Good try but wasnt sold on it.

Track 17- Chase The Cat

This is only on the ITUNES album I think. This is fire. SO club and for the ladies all day. SO
ladies, get the ITUNES album too lol ….U KNOOOWWWWWWWW !!!!

GOOD JOB G-UNIT, I’m banging it in the whip
this week. Imma call some females to ride wit me.
